Craig, that kind of breakout is the exception rather than the rule. The Data Warehouse and BI area could be separate types, or you could have 1 or more individuals doing both. DBA might write procs as well.

Not challenging what you're saying in your own environment, but more often than not, what you're describing are roles, versus types of people. I've played roles 2 through 5 for a single client/employer (sometimes out of necessity).
