Baffled head scratching: as you often fume about corrupt politicians gaming the system, how can you argue for a single payer system?
Even if insurance might be out, then medical and drug corporations will grow via feeding frenzies.
The only way to curb it IMO is by leaving a sizable part of each medical bill with the patient, making look after cost himself.
Anything else wil only set up more systems to be milked by the players, as the payers have no say
