Well, here are some truths regarding the Clintons on some of these related topics:

- Here's what Bill Clinton said at Byrd's funeral: "They mention that he once had a fleeting association with the Ku Klux Klan, and what does that mean? I'll tell you what it means. He was a country boy from the hills and hollows of West Virginia. He was trying to get elected. And maybe he did something he shouldn't have done, and he spent the rest of his life making it up. And that's what a good person does. There are no perfect people. There certainly are no perfect politicians."

Emphasis on "fleeting association", and "he was trying to get elected". Give me a break!

- In 2005, HRC said this: "I am adamantly against illegal immigrants. ... Clearly, we have to make some tough decisions as a country, and one of them ought to be coming up with a much better entry-and-exit system so that if we’re going to let people in for the work that otherwise would not be done, let’s have a system that keeps track of them.”

- Her campaign was one of the first to start the "birther" movement in 2008

- In the fall of 2015 she used the term "illegal immigrants" (which I have no problem with, but she played into leftist guilt and tried to walk it back)

- And then there are her "super-predator" comments, her joke about Mahatma Gandhi owning a gas station (and she's made some other ones). Had Trump said those, the reaction would have been worse.

So I'm reminded of the famous Julie London song about lacrimation. HRC largely gets a pass from the MSM compared to people on the right. I think those who believe HRC is mistreated by the media are probably pining for the ultra-protection level that Obama gets from the MSM :)
