>>John, John, John
>>How you go on!

Bil, Bill, Bill,
How you do repeat these hackneyed patronizations!

>>So, let's be sure that we get this right.
>>If she passes legislation that lets people do whatever, she's some kind of heroine who fought the bad guys and is showered with praise.

By whom? I think you pasted this in from a diatribe intended for a sentence different from the one I posted.

>>If she tries and fails, she's some kind of victim and gets no blame- rather she gets plaudits for bucking the bad guys.

Please review what was said in real life- which is that she was obstructed and white-anted. You may think that's OK because you don't approve of her, but that sort of ad feminem politics has gotten the US into a big mess. In particular, consider Medicare which is socialized healthcare enjoyed if you manage to last to the age of 65. If if's good enough to qualify for socialized care just because you reach the age of 65, why not extend that to others- especially the "others" who will be paying for it. But if it's HRC trying to push that- then block her, because she's naughty. So now Medicare has a deficit $Ts more than it needed to be with the $ surplus from young contributions instead siphoned away as juicy dividends and bonuses. Meanwhile, if you review Commonwealth Institute comparisons, US healthcare is bottom of the heap when it ought to be top.

Go ahead, Bill: slap away at politicians you don't like and prevent them getting anything done- but then don't moan about what you caused.

I've not expressed any preference either way, but I can say this: who cares whether the candidate is likeable. Which one is most likely to help lift the US out of the mess?

I'd also say that millions of your countrymen favor Trump not because they're white bigots, but because they perceive the simple truth that Washington politics has led the US into the quicksand and Trump represents change. "More of the same" is a curse for millions of citizens out there- apart from the ones who maximized their own assets and demand their right to socialized benefits while screeching at the idea of socialized benefits for anybody else.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
