I'm mainly a VFP programmer, but one request I have the owner insists in having an Access application for his sales orders information. He's talking about having it as single-user app at first and down the road have several people use it. The question is, how many users will an access database support without taking a performance hit?
I read an MS article that states Access can have 20+ users with no problems, but an Access guy I run into every once in a lunch time tells me that he starts taking performance hits at 4-5 users on an small inventory control app. TIA
