That's funny. Most people say C# reminds them of Java/ Java is the older of the two.
I have little experience with Java, but a friend of mine who has been a keynote speaker at both Java and .NET events and spent several years consulting with companies on interop between the two says he much prefers C#. It's easier and faster to get things done.
>What is your opinion about Java development? Let's say a complete business application, by creating a java base framework for the most important tools, similar as we used to do in VFP.

>I do not know much about Java, but at first sight it seems to provide sufficient functionality. it reminds me a lot about C#.
