He really didn't....and here's where Bill F's comments are particularly important. I make a distinction between attacking/discriminating based on orientation. I have a saying...I am passionate in my indifference to one's orientation. I simply don't care. It's not relevant to the kind of person he/she is. I have two gay male friends who are married and adopted a little boy and they are great parents.

But to Bill's point - LGBT rights have become a matter of whether you think the bathroom laws are right and wrong. I am just conventional enough to say that this entire thing is ridiculous. If you've got male equipment, you go to the men's room. If you've got female equipment, you go to the women's room. End of story.

And since Trump wants to do away with the silly legislation that some have tried to pass, he's been marked as anti-gay.
