>But equally, how can it be fair to blame Trump because some KKK nonentity is given 15 minutes of fame by a biased MSM. Trump refused and dissociated himself from the support, did he not? Still some echo chamberists tell themselves there's a KKK dawn with new members exploding from the woodwork to burn effigies on the front lawn of the White House as Donald serves rye.
First, he had to be pushed really hard to reject the KKK. A decent human would have stood up the minute he heard about it and said "I reject this. I don't want their support. ..." Took him several days.
Second, the rejection is irrelevant because he brought Steve Bannon, the man who gave legitimacy to the alt-right, in to run his campaign, and now Bannon is on the transition team. The message is that the alt-right has a home in the Trump administration.
