Victor, there is a difference between someone who makes racist comments and someone who is a racist. Yes, Trump has made very bad racist comments. Let's also remember that LBJ made far worse racial comments. Yes, he was very slow to denounce the KKK. (Truthfully, I think his comments and actions towards women over the years are worse than his racist comments). Time will tell if he actually engages in racial actions.

There were people who voted for Candidate A not because of any affinity for A, but because they felt B was worse. When you have 2 candidates with high unapproval ratings, that is bound to happen. I don't begrudge people for voting for specific candidates. I'll certainly debate those who try to openly evade shortcomings of their candidate, but I don't say, "you're supporting ABC because you're voting for A".

This vote-shaming really needs to stop. I'm seeing a ton of it on Twitter and other social media areas.
