I already said that I'm not using VMs. I think having someone to confirm it's working for him or not will at least help me to feel alone / not alone.
BTW, I tried all versions - got the same error every time. I suspect something is wrong with the clrHost.dll. When I tried to open the solution project it asked me to install SDK for VC++ for Windows XP. I don't want to install something extra, so I can not build that solution locally.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
