>>Yeah, this one, if signed, will cause women to die. Many women don't know they're pregnant by the time you can hear a heartbeat. (Worth noting that weeks of pregnancy count from the last period, so 6 weeks is really more like 4 weeks after fertilization.) Ectopic pregnancies generally aren't detectable until around 7 weeks. Women with ectopic pregnancies can die if the pregnancy isn't terminated.

Sorry to keep doing it, but can I just quote the actual verbiage added to House Bill 493: abortion still is explicitly allowed "to prevent the death of the pregnant woman or to prevent a serious risk of the substantial and irreversible impairment of a major bodily function of the pregnant woman."

In view of this, can you explain why you say the bill is going to cause women to die? Not saying I support the bill, it's just difficult to think about stuff when you're forced to go back to source every time. The MSM is supposed to be putting balanced facts out there, but it continues to fail dismally.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
