That is true - but you can still protest. Not protest the results of the election of course (as you said he won fair and square) - but you can protest his racist comments and plans and to a message that this behavior is unacceptable. Does not mean he will listen (not like he listens to anyone right?) but you have to stand up and say something because there is zero chance you will be heard if you say nothing to begin with.
