>1) Regarding a landslide, since he lost the popular vote, he clearly didn't have one there. As for the electoral college vote, he got 56.5% of electors. According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_presidential_elections_by_Electoral_College_margin, that's 46 out of 58 elections. Hard to call that a landslide or a victory of historic proportions.

I continue to be amazed at how many people cite the popular vote. It's an irrelevant statistic because the popular vote wasn't in play.

I've already said I don't consider the victory a landslide victory - but as for "hard to call it a victory of historical proportions", it is ABSOLUTELY so.

HRC spent more money, had most of the mainstream media on her side, and had every conventional advantage imaginable. She also won 2 of the 3 debates (though some feel she won all 3). And yet she won just 20 states, against someone with zero political experience. Dare I say this is one of the most embarrassing losses in history - if not statistically, then surely in the political realm.

It's also a win of historical proportions because of how he won the primaries against an RNC and 12+ opponents who were doing everything to stop him.
