I checked the table and the record was properly created. I was not able to find why this is not showing in red. I have activated a trace on your account so I can collect more information. So, when you will log back to the site, I will be able to know more about it.

There is also the option in "Account\General settings\Move replies to your messages read as soon as you read them" if you wish to avoid to click on REPLIES to clear the red counters.
