>>I also believe that the opposition party is behaving badly. For example, they will not confirm the president's cabinet. They complain because the State department is a ghost town but they refuse to confirm a Secretary of State. IMHO, the country is suffering because of the obstructionist opposition party.

The Republicans used to do this as well- just not at the start when it was thought unseemly to block cabinet appointments for too long. So the obstructionism has gone up a notch, as is the willingness for previous presidents to criticize the incumbent at all, let alone in the first week. Of course by opening that door, Obama has set himself up for 4 years of criticism from the POTUS pulpit. And if there ever should be a terrorist incident on US soil or a high-profile crime by an illegal, Trump gets to climb aboard the moral high horse from which he can extend the bone of blame at detractors forever.

IMHO, the media, Hollywood elites and others are being incredibly short-sighted. They sang for Clinton and Obama who created special privileges/protections for Hollywood elites and mainstream recording studios via the DMCA regulations that disincentivize pirating. But now they provoke deplorables and a President who wields executive orders with whirlwind speed.

I'm just waiting for the Deplorable movement (or maybe the Russians who are to blame for everything) to scatter-gun freely downloadable versions of Madonna's or Streep's efforts to hit them back where it hurts. "You attack us and you get to perform for free, thanks!" That's assuming that Trump doesn't decide that DMCA regs are an example of extraneous legislative baggage that needs to be done away with, since these people have plenty of resources to maintain their own commercial interests without special protection at taxpayer cost. Watch the scramble when the Hollywood elites (or more particularly, the recording companies) realize that the hornet's nest they insist on poking, is positioned right over their own heads.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
