Well, keep in mind something - many of the refugees from these countries are moderate Muslims who have been attacked by ISIS. They are the victims of radicalization, not advocates.
Do you really believe that this is true for Iran?
Unfortunately, the Obama administration wanted to dramatically increase the number of refugees and simultaneously paint anyone who objected as bigots. There are other ways to help refugees without endangering security. We protected Kurdish regions in NW Iraq from Hussein - we could similarly have worked to create safe areas inside Syria. I'm not saying it's easy, but Obama took the easiest path that allowed him to attack his political opponents. He is responsible for part of this problem and has used his solution to paint others as xenophobic.
That is a very good point and I agree with you whole-heartedly.
