Cannot speak for current times, but in the last decades of last millenium I had contact with quite a few Iranians (some muslim, some bahai) prefering to leave Iran following the Pahlewi fall.
I realize that aquaitance # random sample, but considering most of them entered with smarts and no capital, they did fine.
(BIG) IF more of their calibre were available, IMO Germany would benefit of such an influx.
(But I also argued from the start of heavy influx in 2015 that we should a) vet more b) return unwanted/unwelcome ones FAST)
