There is a realistic chance that that decision will cost her the election this year. Somewhat less in the public eye is the fact that this action was breaking existing laws WITHOUT even parliametary vetting - this created a much stronger "dismantle" current but evoked NONE of the judicial backlash Trump is facing. In a roundabout way this makes me believe US constitution is in better hands than our Verfassung ;-)
