IMO, for a beginner,
REPLACE &lcField. WITH STRCONV(STRCONV(&lcField.,9,1250,1),11,1251,1) ALL
is easier to understand than
REPLACE (m.lcField) WITH STRCONV(STRCONV(evaluate (m.lcField),9,1250,1),11,1251,1) ALL
