>Please do the same re the Trump "rhetoric" you say justifies outrage and connection to desecration of Jewish cemeteries.

>For your benefit: In his recent Florida speech, Trump made a reference to "last night in Sweden" that he said referred to a piece on Fox News, but detractors decided was a fake claim about migrant atrocities in Sweden. Lovies took turns mocking and ridiculing Trump for the false claim they invented for him... and then migrants staged a riot with burning and looting. Reich, a previous Secretary of Labor well liked by CNN and its ilk, claimed that Trump provoked these riots just as he claimed that earlier student riots at Berkeley where he is a professor, actually were trumped up by conservative media. It seems that no evidence is needed as long as you can use words like "rhetoric" and you're critical of Trump.

I don't see myself as a detractor and based on the following excerpt (which fits in with the thing I watched) I applaud every ridicule Trump gets FOR THAT STATEMENT.

"Here's the bottom line. We've got to keep our country safe. You look at what's happening. We've got to keep our country safe. You look at what's happening in Germany, you look at what's happening last night in Sweden. Sweden, who would believe this. Sweden. They took in large numbers. They're having problems like they never thought possible. You look at what's happening in Brussels. You look at what's happening all over the world. Take a look at Nice. Take a look at Paris. We've allowed thousands and thousands of people into our country and there was no way to vet those people. There was no documentation. There was no nothing. So we're going to keep our country safe."

I do not want to enter an operational discussion on Trump "lying", "embellishing", "still campaigning/gathering votes" or "fitting the speech to the audience": If you allow Trump to retract wrong/stupid statements when challenged, his tactics have won, as any unchallenged statement bolstered beyond truth is accepted : in negociation or perception a bad thing. If he wants to use that tactic as described in the summaries of art of the deal, checks of the very words uttered are MORE important and ridicule seems to be a vector important to him ;-)
