Even if some people didn't have a grandfathered plan renewed or their doctor wasn't part of the replacement- you need to say why that's the ACA's doing rather than a post hoc fallacy. Surely nobody thought Obama meant that the ACA imposed additional clauses on insurers and physicians, forcing automatic right of renewal for policyholders and physician participation whether they like it or not? Surely his point was that the ACA would not force pre-existing arrangements to be terminated, which literally (in the proper meaning of that word) is true when the grandfather period kept being extended until grandfathered plans were no more.
