Not sure the VB6/Access argument is an affirmative defense. That's almost like saying you're "pretty safe" because of all the RPG and Cobol code that still exists. :)

The truth is that a good chunk of those remaining VB6/Access apps are marginal apps. Because Fox was always touted as superior to VB6/Access, then (hopefully you see where I'm going with this).

Yes, there will still be Fox apps running in 5 years and even further. Note I referenced the U.S. in my original reply, as I recognize Fox is more popular in other countries right now.

But still....I'm not so sure it's "pretty safe", as much as "assuming increased risk". I recently picked up a side contract with a small business (using Fox) whose technology is now being evaluated by some larger outfits the small business wants to partner with. So they now acknowledge....
