Hi Daniel, I know XML is hard to consume/create using vfp, and until last year vfp had no real xml parser/serializer available, so I developed nfXML , a parser/serializer for vfp you can ( still ) find on vfpx:

It will convert any Xml to a vfp object & back - empty based objects please- with just one function call. The only limitation: current version is vfp oriented, so consumes/creates lower case xml.
