Victor, I don't always agree with Bill, but I respect his viewpoints because he brings arguments to the table. Reasonable people can disagree on specific arguments - for instance, I see the issue with Hussein and the Kurds (and Hussein's violations of the sanctions that were eroding) very differently than he does. Though I certainly understand his view about the way the war was fought and managed.

But what Bill doesn't do is cite every ACLU-style bleeding-heart canard that a vote for Trump is a vote to stomp out the rights of citizens, take health care away from millions of women

I don't think an 18 year old who smokes a few joints should do 30 years (and I'll ask you to quote an instance where such a case would result in 30 years). Having said that, I have no problem with (figuratively) smacking an 18 year old around...and smacking him/her around damn good...for smoking grass. Weed is increasingly dangerous and there's nothing wrong with keeping teens on the straight edge.
