FWIW, almost all of my .ocxs are in the windows\system directory. You probably already know this, but you can register Active X controls in VFP by using the Tools, Options menu within VFP to get to the Controls tab. This makes the Active X control directly available from the form controls tool bar instead of using the standard ole container/bound controls.
