>>>In 2014, a reported 926,240 abortions took place in the United States...
>>>323,999 abortions were performed [by Planned Parenthood] in 2014, according to the organization. Now with this you should be able to determine your %'s.

>323,999/926,240 is 34.98%, isn't it? I said 35%.

>FWIW, PP provided a massive 18,684 prenatal services (for expecting mothers) in that same year it aborted more than 300,000 babies and aborts 160 babies for every 1 it refers out for adoption. Reasonably, the main service offered to its target audience of parents/pregnant women, overwhelmingly is abortion.

That is up to the pregnant women who have made that choice.

>Re black abortions in NY: in 2013 (most recent stats) it's widely reported that black women accounted for 29,007 terminated pregnancies and gave birth to 24,108 babies. By my math, isn't that more black babies aborted than born? What are you objecting to?

I'm not objecting to anything as far as those numbers are concerned..those appear to be correct. African American women had a higher rate of abortion than whites, Hispanics or Asians, according to those same 2013 figures, and those numbers also show that nationwide, black women gave birth more than they terminated pregnancies that year.
But I don't see what your point is with this as far as planned parenthood goes. Have you ever stopped to think about how many unwanted pregnancies they've prevented from education and birth control? Or how many other medical situations they've helped with? It would seem logical that if you're against abortion that you'd kind be interested in keeping birth control options open for women. Now if you're one of those religious wackadoodles who thinks there should be no abortion or birth control then that's a different issue. But surely you're for women's health aren't you? Because this is what PP is about - women's health. Do you understand this or what?

>Re abortion % of PP income: Actually,on this one you might have a point. Because PP doesn't include income per modality in its annual report, preferring to issue a head count for interactions whether worth $1 or $1500, people have tried to guestimate the % from abortion. Critics claim as much as 94% of non-federal funds. PP itself (and you) stubbornly prefer the 3% of "services" so an abortion is counted same as dispensing a pill or attending a group education session. It's misleading and if PP refuses to end the furor by fessing up- then what do they have to hide?

Look I'm giving you some slack here because you don't live in the USA and simply are unaware of what Planned Parenthood does, how they function, or for that matter pretty much anything about it. The bible-thumpers and the politicians that pander to them are the bozo's that came up with this imaginary 94% - which is laughably untrue of course. You seem to think there is some sort of cover up or hiding going on - which is absurd as its a non-profit and that's not even possible.

All I can say is you need to look deeper into Planned Parenthood and learn some more about it - because you can't talk about all the problems with it if you're clueless to anything about it -- and based on what you're saying here that's the conclusion I've come too. Again this is somewhat understandable as you don't live here and have zero experience with them.
