We must have the same Informix Atlanta rep. I left three voice mail messages for him with no results. I finally got hold of someone else who was willing to give me the pricing and ordering info in I-Net for Windows NT. It has been ordered but I don't know the delivery schedule yet.

I am using Windows NT 3.51 with VFP 3.0 (no b upgrade). Informix may be right in saying that you can use the 16 bit ODBC driver, the problem is getting VFP to find it in the Connection Wizard.

As you suggested, I downloaded the Intersolv Driver Pack. The Informix 5 driver shows up in the VFP Connection Wizard but I get error messages when I try the connection. There is a note in the Intersolv help that specifically says that you must have Informix Net 5.01 for Windows NT installed.

You think you have connectivity problems! We use a system called MINX for our manufacturing data. It is very user hostile. Our MIS group does a nightly download to an Informix database from MINX so the users can get the info they need via a software package called GQL that allows users to create their own queries into the Informix database (much like Crystal Reports but not nearly as friendly). I am trying to automate some of the more routine things we do using VFP.
