<< I am using Windows NT 3.51 with VFP 3.0 (no b upgrade). >>
By all means, get the "b" upgrade to VFP 3.0. VFP is a whole
lot more stable with it. You'll have a whole lot less grief
with the upgrade. The upgrade is only $20 from MS (hey, $19.95
for you. <g>) Of course, I will say you should really
just skip 3.0 altogether and go right to VFP5 since you're
using NT anyway. Is there any reason you can't do that?
Yeah, Informix products. It may be just me, but every time I
deal with that company, I get a whole lot of extra layers of
complexity that are unnecessary in my mind. The whole process
I get into with them takes far too long, and with generally a
whole lot less satisfaction than I would like. Oh, well.
Yes, your system sounds a whole lot more convoluted than what
I'm seeing. I sure would like to see my order for CLI show
up this week so I can really get connected, but I'm not too
optimistic.
Good luck with your order. <g>
