And the rest of the civilized earth had been trashed by war apart from the US that then entered a period of prosperity and world dominance. Wealthy scions saw the UK as a place for classical education and sowing of wild oats before returning home to a respectable society wedding. Now? Globalization and instant electronic $ movement means that selfish entitled parasites can live in the same luxury with income and wealth contorted into devices that avoid tax.
Then are billionaires spending hundreds of millions trying to keep rates at the current levels or lower morons?
If high tax rates can be evaded, why not just pass them?
