Yes there are. It starts with the facts. And I'm sorry to say, I don't think you understand them.

The fact is that there's no gun show loophole in itself. The problem exists when private non-licensed gun owners make private sales/transfers. Gun shows just happens to be one context where it occurs, however uncommon.

The issue isn't with people who are in the actual business of selling guns. The overwhelming majority of guns offered for sale at gun shows are from federally licensed dealers, and a background check is required by law. Guns sold by private individuals is where the potential issue is - they are a much smaller % (though it's not zero)
