> It's my obligation to say my side about your statements Mike. No need to mention any facts about my point because its obvious and its a reality.

Maybe in your own world, where your opinion is treated as fact, but in the real world, you have yet to offer a single fact to back it up.

> If VFE is functional, well designed, well documented, enhanced, flexible and powerful, supported by anyone and powerful as something that you can pick up for $600, then, there should'nt be other frameworks out there that are coming out. I did know some foreign developers here in our country ( Canadians and Americans as well ), and they prefer CB Mortals than VFE for you info and to answer your next statement.

I've used VFE as an example here Jess, only because it is obviously the framework I am most familiar with. However, no where did I claim that VFE holds up to all of those statements. Our current version does not hold up to them nearly as well as it could or should, nor IMO, do any of the other frameworks. All of the frameworks out right now were written when the authors were still very much learning OOP and VFP. IMO, our 6.0 version will, but that's really not relevant to this conversation. I'm also sure the others new releases are and will continue to be dramatically improved. As far as VFE being the only framework, that assertion is simply ludicrous. As you yourself have said, developers have styles and preferences and no one framework can suit the tastes of all developers. By the same token, different applications have different requirements and certain frameworks are better suited for certain types of applications than others.

Our 5.0 version, and all of the other frameworks can stand for a lot of improvement - which is actually another reason to get one - you don't have to make the improvements yourself. Throughout this thread and others I have mentioned several frameworks and I have always been very tactful in mentioning that they all have their strong points. As far as the Mere Mortals Framework goes, it is an excellent framework and I myself have recommended it over VFE on occasion. We also have a number of customers that use both. We have customers that have switched to VFE from every other framework available and I'm sure every other framework maker has at least one customer that's switched from VFE as well. Your point is completely irrelevant. You've simply decided to attack me personally now because you can't back up any of your ridiculous statements with a single fact.

> I don't have the nerve anymore to answer this. It's already an 'Advertisement.'

As I've stated above, it is in no way shape or form an advertisement.
