Now read up on where he went into more detail
http://www.al.com/news/huntsville/index.ssf/2017/11/doug_jones_speaks_on_abortion.html

I did see that and was concerned, for reasons that ought to be obvious. You need to carefully read the actual verbiage.

To be clear, I fully support a woman's freedom to choose to what happens to her own body. That is an intensely, intensely personal decision that only she, in consultation with her god, her doctor, her partner or family, that's her choice.

"Having said that, the law for decades has been that late-term procedures are generally restricted except in the case of medical necessity. That's what I support. I don't see any changes in that. It is a personal decision."

I challenge you to correlate his first clause with his second, and the last sentence of the second clause with the rest of that clause. How about that word "generally" that's not in statute? Maybe "generally" means restricted unless the woman and her doctor want to. Which is the sort of thing Alabama voters notice. If he supports current statute then he needed to say "I support the cyurrent laws and will not seek to broaden them" rather than what Alabamans will see as verbal diarrhea full of escape hatches that stinks of the swamp.

>>...and might read up on this too, which explains what Kayla Moore is saying on the subject while campaigning for her husband is B.S.

Says the person who repeatedly spouts B.S. about the 8 "victims". And now quotes Politifact disguised as AL! Politifact's scoffing about Mrs Moore has itself been fact checked elsewhere. I could direct your domineering rhetoric back at you, but won't.

>>I'm no longer explaining to you that Moore is a sexual predator who has a history of preying upon underage girls and that its wrong, and wrong for him to be in office. You disagree with this assessment and that is that.

You base this evidence on B.S. piled up for you by WAPO. You're being conned. Alabamans are not.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
