Here's the deal.
More than 42,000 people are employed at the Joint Base McGuire/Dix.

That's more than any single employer in New Jersey.
That's just slightly less than half of the entire population of Hamilton, NJ.
Their congressional reps have one, and only one, mission... keep that base open and raise its funding.
Keep it open, period.
I've been out there. These are good, family, people.

The tragedy is that there are stories like this in North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, California, New York, New Mexico, Maine and many other states.
I don't want to see these people hurt, but things have to change and they will, inevitably.
