Re: Putin:

a. I really don't care what Putin thinks. I care a lot more about what my grandsons have to pay for college tuition and what their housing costs will look like when they reach that stage.

b. Anytime the US mires itself in a no-win situation as it did in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, and now Syria its relative status diminishes so its adversaries, if there are any, lick their chops.

c. The insanity of spending $824 billions/year to stop a guy wearing a suicide vest doesn't fly very well, so we need to manufacture bad guys. Again, the left used to be smart enough to smell out McCarthyism (now Putinism) for being just that.
