>> so this is not a sustainable policy.

And what is the wonderful sustainable policy that he's upending?
NAFTA - passed with the blessing of the dem establishment is the most vicious anti-labor action against the US worker since the passage of Taft Hartley.

One of my smaller clients, one of the few family manufacturers left in Queens, NY told me last week that he's closing up because Chinese imports are coming in at prices below his cost of raw material. This was a neighborhood company. People walked to work from nearby homes. The company was started by the grandfather of the owner during WWII.
The father of the current owner was a dear personal friend of mine who succumbed much too early to cancer.
It might have been a blessing. Having to close the company would have broken his heart. The current owner supported Trump because at least Trump recognized the problem. In truth, there's really nothing that Trump can do to save this company, but what's wrong with trying?
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
