>>>The "American voter as a whole" did not become stupid all of a sudden in the last election. The difference is that voting for someone like Trump is WAY WAY WAY WAAAAAYYY more stupid than voting for the likes of Obama. It's not a matter of the level of stupidity - it's the level of how stupid the choices were. Voting for someone like Trump is going to result in a lot more consequences than voting for someone like Obama (or Hillary, or anyone else than ran that had a real chance in the last election). We're in the midst of a looming constitutional crisis because there were too many people that made a really stupid choice - and anyone with the slightest understanding of government and politics could easily see it coming. So people were either too stupid about politics or just too stupid to care. Either way -- it's stupidity - and a lot of it.

>So they didn't become more stupid at the last election- they just suddenly voted WAY WAY WAY more stupidly?

That is correct - because the choices were more stupid as it included Trump.

>Whereas somebody who voted for HRC or any of the unsuccessful candidates, wasn't as stupid?

I'm not saying they were not as stupid when it comes to government or politics (that is bipartisan) -- but they did indeed make a decision that was not as stupid as a vote for Trump.

>And the proof is that you're in the midst of a looming (which seems a contradiction of terms, but whatever) constitutional crisis- which is what exactly apart from an ominous label? My understanding is that there's a massive swirl of allegations from the bubble, but where's the beef- the proof of wrongdoing by POTUS to justify the calls to impeach and latest shrieking about constitutional crisis? Please be precise for the benefit of all the dummies.

If you think we are not about to have a serious constitutional crisis (and it's already started) then your understanding is incorrect I'm afraid. ..and FYI there doesn't need to be an impeachment to happen to have a constitutional crisis.

>Please be precise for the benefit of all the dummies.

I do not think you (or anyone else I see on the forum) is a dummy so there is no need for that.
