I will certainly agree that Trump is/was more correct than Merkel on quite a few issues deemed important.

But calling his politics chemotherapy IMO seen from here seems far fetched.
AFAIK he rolled back regulation for banks without implementing safeguards he ALSO promised before election.
I see it he picked the part of his pre-election promises very carefully in that area in a way tilting the balance again to possible imbalance and possible gains for his enterprizes.
