I took it one step further:
COPY FILE "C:\tripsoft6\data\tripsoft.fxp" TO "C:\tripsoft6\data\ktmp\tripsoft.fxp"
Same error. The dirs exist and the file _is_ copied. Is there a bug in the COPY FILE command?
