Most of the bridges in the USA are in really bad shape - and a lot of the highways are crap too. Perhaps a 2018 version of he New Deal needs to happen?
I'm all for cutting spending on military - the numbers are staggering - and true bridges don't kill anyone -- but bridges that collapse do.
