Hi Thomas,

You see the thin blue layer above the rock? That what we call logical / rational thinking is the same ratio.

The problem with text based communication on that rapid style of internet is that all the assumptions we will do independent from our surface brain can not be eleminated from the equation. We can try to minimize it, but this is not the way humans are working. This thread is a good example - all the rational stuff here comes from our gut feeling that something is wrong. This strong feeling let us keep it alive. Everybody could do a shrug and stop it. Those with the feeling something is wrong. And the one who feels attacked (replace with any better fitting word) need to stand his ground because emotions took over. Rationalization.

Trolling is defined as starting an argument because of the argument, just to provoke the other to a reaction. Possibly to do some additional mockery.
Can't see that here. Rick is that way to the BIOS. And as long as I don't see a crusade I'm quiet. Me and Rick had this years ago.
I can imagine the internal fight he's doing because his belive took over. It's not up to me to judge this.
And since I value his self limitation I will give him some support against to much mockery etc. Not that I'm with him in the problem we all see, that's different.

Schönen dritten Advent.
