This thing you mentioned happened to me, Lutz. I was not seeking it. And I remained amazed to this day at the change. It is real. It is permeating. It is driving. It is not of me or my own doing, but I am aware of what has happened, and I see it continually re-inforced in my life. And if someone would've told me it could happen to me before it did, I would not have believed them, and would've actually probably ridiculed them for suggesting such a thing.

It really is a total change that's come over me. And I really do have no insincere or selfish or hurtful motives in my comments on Chen's work. I made the comments back in 2014 that what he was doing was illegal. I forgot about it until I saw it here again, and when I saw it again I reiterated my statements. It was purely responsive to a wrong I saw, as I truly do believe what he's doing is illegal. I wish it were not because I would like to be able to help him, and the community, by doing what he's doing to add to VFP9's base abilities. I have strong assembly programming skills and could assist him and augment his work, adding some really nice extensions.

There's never been a tool like VFP. It's why I worked so hard to et Visual FreePro completed. I found literally zero support in the community, save one few-month stint in 2015 (nearly 3 years after I started work on the project). And had I not gotten sick in 2015, it would've been finished by now. I'm currently still working on it, but approaching it from a different angle as I desire to integrate a C-like solution into Visual FreePro's XBASE language, so that you can compile stand-alone executables and have source code that inter-operates with C and XBASE in the same source file.

It's a large project, but my resources are moving toward it presently. It just takes a lot of steps to get there.
