There is a good argument for that if you try to impeach Trump and fail, you've created a bigger problem. I agree with that. The results of what Muller and the investigations will determine the oddsof a 2/3's majority. Not unheard of - Nixon. It all depends upon what is uncovered. In any event, he's already committed impeachable offenses as it is. Obstructing justices, violating the emoluments clause, abusing the pardon power, and at least another 1/2 dozen things I could ramble off. The GOP doesn't seem to mind all these violations (for now) because they're tribal and getting something out of it (for now). If there are big revels in any of these investigations then the same thing that happened to Nixon will happen to Trump.
