What are you talking about? The Dems control the House and in real life they can expect GOP votes as well, if there's actual evidence. Ask Nixon who resigned to avoid such impeachment, or Clinton who was impeached by the House for obstructing justice and lying to Congress. Clinton was saved by venal democrats in Senate as no doubt Trump might be, but that doesn't stop the House impeaching him if there's actual evidence. Instead, Pelosi has to keep heading off attempts to impeach using versions of your attack dossier that are so extreme that they risk an impression of crying wolf.

Which he may not have actually said, but Woods did say something along the lines of "scratch a liberal, find a fascist every time." As an example of what they mean: one of the first things fascists do, is infiltrate institutions particularly the MSM to ensure slavish adherence to the cause. Not even you can accuse Trump of that. Next, set up groups of citizens as legitimate hate targets, e.g. deplorables, 30% of the population designated as idiots or those who wear a kepi or MAGA hat who are declared to be the haters so they can be attacked by real haters and bullies waving a virtuous flag. Next, propose revolutionary change to get trains running on time, save the planet or some other campaign that those awful deplorables are to blame for our unhappiness so lets get them. And hanging over all of it: absolute intolerance and abuse directed at anybody who strays from the Orwellian fascist narratives.

Had Flynn said "I don't recall" he might still be there, instead of destroyed by a perjury trap after he was bugged. Had Trump Jr said "I don't recall" about the meeting about adopting Russian kids, you couldn't confabulate a scenario with Trump telling him to lie. Even Manafort in his misery was additionally accused of lying with even the Obama judge expressing some unease at this tactic. Meanwhile HRC has used not recalling to great effect and after this Mueller rampage through the ranks of Trump allies, you should expect the right to not remember very much at all or keep many records that can't be deleted or bit bleached at will. I agree that this is a win for the venal swamp and a negative for the nation, but that's how politics continues to degenerate in the US.
