Tolerating intolerant behavior just normalizes it. If an intolerant thuggish mentality pervades any university, party or institution, 'tis a noble act to help guide them back towards the respectful democratic society that makes America Great.
Coincidentally, I see Trump has announced an executive order requiring universities to commit to protect free speech if they want federal funding. Heads will explode trying to come up with ways to block that without appearing to block free speech.
