It's only a good day if we learn something from it.
The failures of the press in this case approach those of the WMD mess in 2003.
Nobody died with this mess, but some of the same people are involved.

It's a huge blunder.

The problem is that this stuff works.

The recent turnover in the house might have been attributable in part to all these lies propagated by the press.
The equally fallacious reporting about HRC's mail server (no indictments) might have cost her the election.
