Dmitry, for what it's worth, my primary client requires that I carry liability/errors and omissions insurance. Their coverage requirements are pretty high, and I wind up paying roughly 5K a year.

I'm not happy about paying it (for reasons beyond the 5K), but I have no choice if I want to keep working with them.
