Well, the client was asking if they are going to upgrade the server to that version what should we do. Also, we're in the process of re-writing the old applications. So, for original problem we don't really have a solution (e.g. our VFP applications depend on old SQL Server ODBC driver installed).
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
