Agree, but all high-level politicians everywhere are corrupt. A long time ago politicians stopped giving a damn about their countries and their people and started only caring about their careers and their financial well-being. Anyone still thinking that virtually ANY high-level politician has their or their country's interest at heart hasn’t been paying attention. Look objectively at the clowns that are being put forward; Warren the faux-indian? Harris the pot-smoking jailer? Bernie the multi-millionaire socialist? Scandal and lies and kowtowing to whatever social trope-du-jour bandwagon. Same as in Europe.

LOL - American is in the state it is not because of Russian interference - do you honestly believe they could create discord on the level you suggest across a country of 360m people! Why look to blame outsiders? In my opinion, a primary discord (amongst others) is between those that feel anything goes and those that hold onto conservative views of family, work, society, etc. Furthermore, the "fish rots from the head" and your high-level politicians and those in Europe and our business leaders do whatever they like, however they like, and get away with it, and that tells the minions to do the same. It's becoming a free for all with politicians saying and doing whatever they think will get them another vote. They don't care so why should you becomes the modus operandi.

What mess? You should be happy Trump got elected because I think the war-mongering Hillary would have long ago led the world into war with NK and Iran. More regime change, more countless and pointless deaths would have ensued. What has it all brought us? Millions of people who lost their parents, their children, their spouses, their brothers/sisters and who now hate us all with a fire that will burn for decades. And the countries that were "conquered"? Wastelands of suffering.

We need to stop hoping the next politician is going to fix it for us.
