Come on, Rick. "Thor" is an excellent jargon term, if we agree that the purpose of jargon is efficient expert communication compared to bulky prose descriptions. Any connection to the Norse god is peripheral at most and certainly not a declaration of belief. You can safely use Thor and refer to Thor without risking heresy, just as your use of Arabic numerals every day is not any sort of cultural declaration, especially with Roman Numerals being far less efficient and probably no closer to your denomination in any case.
