Hi Simon,

Again, thank you for sharing the costs of "renting" (is this the right term) remote server.

What about TSPlus. Do you have to buy a copy of this software for each remote server you have/use? What is the ball park number of TSPlus cost?

>If the users connect using a browser then any report they print is sent to the browser as a pdf file which then can be opened by the default pdf reader and printed on the local printer. I use FoxIt as the default pdf reader which pops up automatically when they print a report. Whether you connect via the browser or remote desktop client the it is just as if the application was running on the local desktop. The user makes changes and prints reports just like normal. In fact there are options to have your application run as a Remote App. Which means you do not see a second desktop top the app appears to be running from the local desktop.

>>1. When your users connect to the remote server (e.g. OVH), and they use their browser, the VFP app runs in the browser and user can make changes?
>>2. Can they print something to their own printer?
>>3. What are the ball park prices for the OVH (or another) remove server? Do you have to specify how much RAM and drive the server should have? Or the provider has standard servers?

>>>Hi
>>>
>>>Yes you can setup TSPlus on your computer. Then users can access your computer with a web browser or Remote Desktop Client using your public IP address and a user name and password for a Windows users of that computer. It you are behind a router then you will have to port forward 3389 or 80 to the appropriate computer and open these ports in the computer's firewall.
